American Football Institute is proud to announce the launch of their comprehensive football academy and training programs for players across age levels. Based in Redondo Beach, CA, American Football Institute is owned and managed by former NFL player, Chris Maumalanga. As a seasoned player, coach, mentor, and trainer, Chris brings more than 30 years of experience to the table as he guides his team of trainers through a comprehensive training program specifically designed to help players develop their knowledge and skill level.
“I began playing football as a high school sophomore, and I was hooked ever since. Throughout my time in the game, I’ve had the opportunity to coach at a high level, to play in the NFL, to mentor players, to develop an intensive training program, and to pursue my dream. For me, American Football Institute is my pride and joy,” says Chris.
In the years following his NFL career, Chris became passionate about teaching kids and parents how to navigate the game, whether it be at the youth football level, the high school football level, or the college football level. The American Football Institute features a number of intensive training programs built around private lessons, 1-on-1 training, and live group training sessions to help individual players maximize their skill level and football IQ within their position of choice.
“Along with our intensive training programs, we also work with newcomers to the game. From players who come from overseas, to football beginners, we provide them with the fundamental knowledge they need to begin playing the game.”
In conjunction with its training programs, the American Football Institute also works hand in hand with parents to help them gain a better understanding as they navigate the world of high school football.
